Vision
Windrush Church of England Primary School values and supports all of its members as unique individuals. It is an aspirational, compassionate and caring school and a happy, welcoming and safe environment which promotes learning and self-confidence.
We are a school where children:
Learn:
-
Where children receive high quality and aspirational teaching with a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum and develop a life long love of learning underpinned by Christian Values.
Love
-
The children flourish through the loving, respectful and compassionate relationships they make. Children from every background can develop a strong moral character, rooted in Christian values such as kindness and respect.
Live
-
Where children can explore what it means to be human and to belong to our school. They will have the very best that the school community can give them so that they are challenged and inspired to achieve their full potential.
Life in all its fullness: reflects how we give children the full richness of life’s experiences, good and bad and teach them how to have a full and successful life.
‘I am the Good Shepherd. I know my sheep and my sheep know Me.’ John 10:14
Our Christian vision is evident in our everyday relationships with our children and families. We are inspired by the story of The Good Shepherd, we know our children well and want the best for each and every one of them. The children know our school well, feel safe and loved and understand its expectations and purpose - they feel a strong sense of belonging to the school community.
